​​​Maruti Suzuki Celerio, launched in February 2010, replaces the Zen Estilo and the A-Star. It is a hatchback and targeted at the budget customer, who wants to own an affordable, feature-packed car, with a strong mileage. The Celerio is the first car in India to possess an automatic gear shift. The car is also available in Europe, having been launched on the continent in 2014. The car has a well-designed exterior and is quite aerodynamic, returning more than 14 km on a liter of petrol on average.

When the Celerio entered the market in 2010, there were 6 variants of this car. But strong sales and a decent after-sales service network have seen the number of variants in the Maruti Celerio increase to 12. The variants are LXI, LXI (Optional), LXI CNG, LNG CNG (Optional), VXI, VXI (Optional), VXI AGS, VXI AGS (Optional), VXI Plus, VXI Plus (Optional), VXI Plus AGS, and VXI PLus AGS (Optional). The Celerio was also available in a diesel variant too but that was discontinued in February 2017.
