There are two main bus terminuses in Chandigarh – in Sector 17 and Sector 43. The bus terminus in Sector 17 connects Chandigarh to major towns in Haryana and to Delhi. The bus terminus in Sector 43 connects neighboring states like Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Uttaranchal, and also Haryana. Inside the city, the Chandigarh Bus Undertaking operates a bus service, which extends to Mohali and Panchkula. Other modes of travel are taxi, autorickshaw, and cycle rickshaw.
