​Japanese car makers Toyota and Suzuki entered a joint venture in the year 2017, and the first introduced product by them is Toyota Glanza. The all-new hatchback is a revamped version of Maruti Suzuki Baleno and is based on the top-spec Zeta and Alpha variants. Even though all the features of the Glanza matches that of Baleno's, the front grille got a facelift along with the addition of Toyota badging on the front and rear.

The Toyota Glanza is available in two variants, G and V, with BS-VI petrol engine options. The G trim is powered by a 1.2-liter K12N engine with a mild-hybrid motor, producing 89bhp and 113Nm. The Glanza V trim is equipped with the regular 1.2-liter K12M engine that generates 82bhp and 113Nm. Glanza offers 5-speed manual transmission option along with a 7-step CVT gearbox. The mileage offered by the Toyota Glanza V MT trim is 21.01kmpl, 23.87kmpl for the G MT trim and 19.56kmpl for the CVT ones.

Glanza's interior is sophisticated and elegant. It flaunts a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The hatchback features manual driver height adjustment, Xenon headlights, automatic AC, LED taillights, 60:40 split rear seat, and keyless entry. Apart from these features, the Glanza even has rear parking camera along with a follow-me-home headlamp feature. For safety, the car is equipped with features like dual airbags, anti-lock brakes, electronic brake-force distribution, rear parking sensors, seatbelt reminder, and ISOFIX mounts for child seats.
