The Honda Amaze is an entry-level sedan and the first Honda car in India made available in a diesel version. The car was introduced to the Indian market in 2013 and it is currently in its second version (2018 model). The Honda Amaze is actually a modified version of the Honda Brio hatchback. The car competes in an extremely competitive segment, with the likes of Tata Indigo, Tata Zest, Maruti Swift Dzire, and Hyundai Xcent. Consequently, the 2018 Honda Amaze is packing an all-new design, premium interiors, more efficient powertrain, and the latest safety features.

Honda Amaze Variants
The Honda Amaze is available in both petrol and diesel versions and is sold in an astonishing 17 variants and four trims (VX, SX, S, and E). Some of the variants are 1.2 i-VTEC, 1.2 i-VTEC, 1.2 VTEC Opt, Pride edition Petrol, 1.5 E i-DTEC, 1.SX i-VTEC, 1.2 S AT i-VTEC, 1.2 VX i-VTEC, 1.5 S i-DTEC, 1.5 S i-DTEC Opt, 1.2 VX AT i-VTEC, Pride Edition Diesel, and 1.5 VX i-DTEC. The 2018 model Honda Amaze will continue to be powered by Honda's proven 1.2-liter i-VTEC (petrol) and 1.5-liter i-DTEC (diesel) engine. The petrol version will be available in both manual and CVT (continuous variable transmission) options while the diesel version will only have a manual transmission.
