Mahindra XUV500 Car Insurance

Mahindra launched the face-lifted XUV500 in the year 2018. The car was first launched in the year 2011 and instantly became one of the most favourite SUV cars in the Indian market. The new version of this car boasts a revised styling, added features and an upgraded powertrain. The XUV500 has become more premium on the outside and got a new top-spec W11 variant as well.

The car is powered by a 2.2-litre mHawk four-cylinder diesel, which has been enhanced from 140bhp and 330Nm to 155bhp and 360Nm. The engine mates with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission. All the more, the engine variant of the engine is also available that produces 140bhp/320Nm mated with a six-speed automatic transmission.

On the outside, the sporty car boasts a revised grille, new tail lamps, and 18-inch alloy wheels. On the inside, the refreshed XUV500 gets quilted leather upholstery on the W11 trim. It also receives a multifunction steering wheel, aluminium pedals, new ambient lighting and illuminated scuff plates. As for the dual-tone dashboard, it houses a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Mahindra’s BlueSense App. The latest XUV500 also has a smart key that offers added convenience.

The Mahindra XUV500 is available in seven colour schemes – volcano black, coral red, dolphin grey, moondust, silver sunset orange, pearl white, opulent purple, and lake side brown. It competes against other SUV models like the Nissan Terrano, Tata Safari Storme, upcoming Hyundai Creta facelift, and the Tata Hexa apart from the newcomer Renault Captur and some of the D-segment sedans.
