Mahindra NuvoSport Car Insurance

​​​​The NuvoSport is Mahindra's third sub-four-meter SUV. It replaces the Quanto and sits above the TUV300 in terms of pricing and features. It looks eye-catching and appealing from the front, thanks to its robust design and tall stance. The SUV is lighter and supposedly more agile than the previous platform. The Mahindra NuvoSport is available in three basic variants - N4, N6, and N8 with N8 being the top- variant. The NuvoSport sits on Mahindra's third generation Scorpio chassis. The side profile and the tail-gate of the SUV resemble that of Quanto's. However, the front fascia has been uplifted with a few visual changes. The NuvoSport flaunts an aggressive front with eyebrow-like pilot lights above the swept back headlamps and the vertically slatted black front grille. The blacked-out bumper with the silver-finished faux bash-plate gives it a muscular look. The interiors of the top-variants are packed with features like reverse parking sensors, daytime running lamps, 16inch alloys, rear spoiler, and height adjustable driver seats. The cabin is spacious thanks to the upright sitting and hunky design.

The soft-roader SUV is powered by a competent 1.5-liter, three-cylinder, m-Hawk diesel engine, which is the same engine used in Quanto. The turbocharged diesel engine churns out 100bhp of max power and 240Nm of peak torque. The motor comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and is also available with an AMT. The SUV returns a certified mileage of 17.45kmpl.

For performing the braking duties, the car is equipped with disc brakes in the front and drum brakes in the rear. All variants except the base N4 gets anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) as safety features. Dual front airbags are optional for the base variant and standard on the others.

The NuvoSport is breaking into the tremendously competitive sub-4 meter soft-roader SUV segment ruled by the likes of Ford EcoSport, Maruti Vitara Brezza, and the upcoming Tata Nexon.
