On the other hand, the 1.5-liter petrol engine returns 17kmpl with the manual transmission and 14.8kmpl with the automatic gearbox. The diesel model offers a claimed mileage of 23kmpl. The Ford EcoSport is extremely fuel efficient, and its mileage is phenomenal for a crossover with so much power.

The Ford EcoSport is available in a total of six variants: Ambiente, Trend, Trend+, Titanium, Titanium+ and the S variant. The SUV is also available in a limited-run Signature Edition. The top-of-the-line S trim gets features like six airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchors, electronic stability control, large touchscreen infotainment system, traction control, emergency brake assist, projector headlamps, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto, brake assist, and tyre pressure monitoring system. However, impressive safety features such as- ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, rear parking sensors are standard across all variants.

The EcoSport has a boot capacity of 352 liters and a high ground clearance of 200 mm. The Ford EcoSport is up against the likes of Tata Nexon, Honda WR-V, and Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza among others.
