State Highway 9, connects Bangalore to Chikkaballapur district. State Highway 3 connects Bangalore to Tumkur and Ramanagara. State Highway 17 connects Bangalore to Mandya and Mysore. State Highway 87 connects Bangalore to Bannerghatta and Anekal. National Highway 48 connects Bangalore to Pune and further onwards to Chennai. National Highway 44 connects Srinagar to Bangalore, going onwards to Kanyakumari.
