Reliance General Insurance conducted its first successful drone-based crop monitoring survey in Churu, Rajasthan. This innovation supports the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana for the Kharif 2023 season. The government has already introduced tech-based crop assessment, with states having the option to give 30% weightage to technology methods, while 70% still relies on traditional assessment approaches.
