​​​​​​​​If you have insured yourself and/ or your family with Reliance HealthGain Policy​ under Plan B, you can renew your health insurance policy for one time without paying any premium if the Policyholder-insured suffers from named Critical Illness.

In other words, if the Policyholder (who is also an Insured Person) undergoes for the first time, or is diagnosed with any of the below named Critical illnesses (which is admissible and payable under the policy), the Policy will be automatically extended for a tenure of 1 year. This is a once in a lifetime benefit to the Policyholder.

List of named critical illnesses:

  • ​Cancer of specified severity like a malignant tumour characterized by the uncontrolled growth & spread of malignant cells with invasion & destruction of normal tissues. The term cancer includes leukemia, lymphoma and sarcoma.
  • ​Open chest Coronary Artery Bypass Graft
  • Stroke resulting in permanent symptoms
  • ​Multiple Sclerosis with persisting symptoms
