Reliance Travel Care Policy Coverage

​Medical Expenses and beyond

  • In-patient and out-patient hospitalization covered
  • A daily allowance is payable, if hospitalization exceeds two days
  • Covers return fare for an immediate family member in case of hospitalization extending to more than seven consecutive days
  • Medical expense due to sudden illness, disease, injury, or death payable
  • Cost of medical evacuation to India payable
  • In case of death, expenses on flying the deceased back home or burial abroad payable

Personal Accident
Compensation for accidental bodily injury sustained during the travel, leading to permanent disability or death

Accidental Death & Dismemberment:

  • Compensation for permanent disability or loss of life while traveling as a passenger in a common carrier


Loss of passport :

  • We shall reimburse the cost of obtaining a fresh or duplicate passport


Loss of baggage:

  • If your checked baggage is delayed more than 12 hours, your essential expenses shall be reimbursed. In case of total loss of baggage by the common carrier, we will provide compensation for the same.

Trip Cancelation/ Interruption:

  • If the trip gets cancelled or interrupted, additional expenses incurred shall be re-imbursed

Missed Connection:

  • If you miss a flight connection due to a delay of more than 3 hours, then additional expenses incurred by you will be reimbursed

Other Contingencies:

  • Cover for liability to a third person caused involuntarily by your employee
  • Provides cash in case money is lost due to a theft
  • Provides a distress allowance in the unfortunate event of a hijack
  • Cover against the loss of possessions, if there is a burglary at home, while employee is abroad

We strive to give you the best during your journey and stay, but do not cover certain expenses. The list of exclusions is as follows:

  • If you are travelling against the advice of a physician
  • If you are receiving or are on a waiting list for a specified medical treatment
  • If you are travelling for the purpose of availing treatment
  • If you have received a terminal prognosis for a medical condition
