The Suzuki Gixxer is a 154 cc sports motorcycle from Suzuki that was launched in 2014. The Gixxer builds on Suzuki's older GSX-R sports bike, which incidentally was also called 'Gixxer' by its fans. Consequently, the name was adopted to the current bike. The Suzuki Gixxer was specially designed for the Indian market, where customers are very conscious about fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, and styling.
In 2015, Suzuki upgraded the Gixxer by giving it a fairer. For those of you who don't know what a fairer is, it is a shell-like casing that covers the frame of some bikes to reduce air drag. You may have seen it on some racing bikes. The addition of a fairer made the Gixxer 10 kmph faster than the older one, helping it attain a top speed of nearly 130 kmph. In 2017, Suzuki launched a special edition of the Gixxer, with two new color schemes (black, white and orange colors).
