Suzuki Burgman is one of the most distinctive-looking,
muscular bikes launched in the Indian market. Its flawless design follows the
Suzuki European style design that gives it a premium appeal. The scooter is
powered by the same 124cc motor seen on the Access 125. The said engine
produces 8.7PS at 7000rpm, with peak torque of 10.2 Nm generated at 5000rpm.
The power to the rear is transferred using a CVT gearbox. The scooter returns
53kmpl of claimed fuel-efficiency. All the more, the Burgman boasts telescopic
front forks and a monoshock unit at the rear that help it to tackle the impacts
on uneven roads.
The Burgman flaunts a maxi-scooter-like styling with a large
windscreen and LED headlamps placed on the front apron. It’s not a complete
maxi-scooter, but it looks bigger than the Honda Grazia. Moreover, the scooter
features an exposed handlebar, an all-digital instrument console, and a
generous 21.5-litre of storage. It alsogets a 12V charging socket, multi-function
key slot, and tubeless tyres. Also, the footboard is quite spacious and gets a
hook under the seat to mount small bags.
Suzuki Burgman locks horns with some of the famous scooters
like Honda Grazia, Aprilia SR 125, TVS Ntorq, and Vespa Notte.
