This power-packed beast has a diamond-type chassis, Hero's first indigenous rear monoshock, and an engine inspired by the Achiever's 150cc unit. The engine of this bike is carburetted and doesn't have fuel injection or oil cooler. The two-valve, 200 cc engine promises to deliver excellent fuel efficiency and rideability. It generates 18.1 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 17.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.
The bike boasts a bold design with sculpted fuel tank, sharp headlamp, and aerodynamic shrouds around the engine. The headlight and tail lamp get LED units. While the Xtreme 200R doesn't have an extensive list of features, it gets a semi-digital instrument cluster with an analogue tachometer. It also has front and rear disc brakes with the front getting ABS as standard at the time of launch.
The Hero Xtreme 200R has a single-channel ABS and is available in five colour schemes- Heavy Grey with Orange, Black with Sports Red, Sports Red, Panther Black with Force Silver, and Techno Blue.
