Travelling to America can offer unique experiences, like long drives across scenic routes and adventurous rides in world-famous theme parks. From exploring lively cities like New York and Las Vegas to visiting iconic landmarks like the Statue of Liberty, there's something for everyone.

But on your way to ticking experiences off your bucket list, you may encounter unexpected risks, like a lost passport after a fun week of celebrating Mardi Gras. Or a flight delay at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). This makes USA travel insurance indispensable during your trip, since it'll help cover these costs.

For example, if you're planning a family vacation to celebrate Christmas in Chicago, and your flight gets delayed due to snowstorms at the Chicago O'Hare International Airport, don't worry – you're still covered. Your Reliance travel insurance plan ensures that your Christmas joy is still intact even if the weather disrupts your holiday plans.

We offer coverage of up to $500,000* to help you deal with expenses arising from flight cancellations, baggage or passport loss, emergency cash or medical care. Our USA travel insurance lets you enjoy your vacation even if you experience any bumps along the way.

Benefits of Buying Travel Insurance for the USA

  • Medical Coverage

Covering as many destinations as possible in a single trip? – Weather changes or constant travel can trigger seasonal allergies or the flu, resulting in a hospital visit. And we all know, medical bills in the US aren't cheap. With our medical coverage of up to $500,000*, you're covered for emergency doctor visits, including medical costs like dental treatment (up to $500*).

Our personal liability coverage of up to $250,000* is essential in the US, where lawsuits are quite common.

  • Flight Delays & Missed Connections

Let's say you were supposed to arrive at JFK Airport the next day to catch a connecting flight to Washington for a business meeting. But heavy snowfall delays your flight, disrupting your travel plans and busy schedule. But not all hope is lost! We cover flight delays exceeding 12 hours up to $60 per day*, and for any missed connecting flights, we offer refunds for pre-paid costs like hotel bookings.

  • Baggage Loss and Delay

This is where we can help. With baggage insurance, we cover checked-in baggage delays exceeding 12 hours up to $100* and total baggage loss up to $1500*, so you can quickly buy clothes, toiletries, and other essentials to tide you over until your luggage arrives.

If Miami Beach or the Las Vegas Strip is on your itinerary during a night out, a lost passport can interrupt your fun. Under our plan, you receive reimbursement of up to $300*. With passport loss insurance cover the costs needed to get you a replacement from the Embassy, so you can quickly get a new passport and have your paperwork in order if you're planning on visiting other cities during your trip.

  • Emergency Cash Assistance
