The movements in yoga are slower and can be adequately supervised while ascertaining they adhere to the specificity of the position.

However, in the case of power yoga, the movements are fast, which makes it difficult to focus on the specific position and keeping the same intact. Hence, power yoga focuses on body movements and not positions.
