Honda Stunner Two Wheeler Insurance Policy

The Honda Stunner, also called Honda CBF125, is a semi-faired bike manufactured by Honda in India from 2008 to 2015. The Stunner filled a niche for Honda, i.e Honda finally got a bike that scored high on aesthetics, while also delivering a decent mileage, with low maintenance to boot. During its heyday, the Honda Stunner, inspired by Honda's higher capacity bikes, was probably the best looking bike in its category.

The Honda Stunner packs an air-cooled, 2-valve, 4 stroke, 124.7 cc engine. A 5-speed gear system propels the Honda Stunner from 0-60 kmph in 6.1 seconds. Don't forget, the Honda Stunner is essentially a city bike, along with stunning graphics and price. The design makes the bike aerodynamic, but also more suited for weaving in and out of city traffic, than touring or cruising. Nevertheless, the Honda Stunner is capable of attaining a top speed of 100 kmph.

Honda has mindfully created the Stunner as a super fuel efficient bike. The bike can deliver 68 km on one litre of petrol. Not bad for a bike that can deliver 8000rpm but feels like a 150 cc bike. Honda has also equipped the Stunner with sleek 17-inch wheels. Interestingly, the Stunner and the Honda Shine share the same engine. But while the Honda Shine is still going strong, the Stunner has been shelved.

Many of the features on the Stunner, considered a novelty for an entry-level bike at that time, like front disc brakes, electric start, alloy wheels, tachometer, tubeless, puncture-resistant tyres, are now common. The Honda Stunner is eminently suited to the office goer or routine commuter, looking for a quick bike to navigate heavy traffic but also promises low-maintenance and high fuel efficiency. The Honda Stunner was actually the best selling bike in Europe since 2008. After a successful run, Honda replaced it with the CB125F, which still retains many features of the CBF125.
