The Honda CBR is a sports tourer produced since 2011. The Honda CBR R250 was originally designed for the Indian and Thai markets. It was only later that when the model became popular in India, Honda began exporting the bike to other countries, including in North America and Europe. The Honda CBR R250 has very few competitors, which is one of the reasons it has done so well in India (the major competitors are the Hero Honda Karizma R and the Kawasaki Ninja 250R).
The Honda CBR R250 has a 249.5 CC engine and is capable of attaining a top speed of 140 km/hr. The bike is designed to produce more torque at lower speeds, which gives it an edge over other performance bikes such as the Kawasaki Ninja 250R. The Honda CBR 250R also possesses an anti-lock braking system, which prevents the brakes from locking when applied. If you ride a bike frequently, you may be aware that sometimes, the brakes tend to lock up the tyres (typically, when the brake is applied suddenly), which can cause the bike to skid uncontrollably.
